On the 21st of April 2015 Summit of Leaders ‘Аchievements Forum’ took place in London. The purpose of the forum was to present companies rated by EBA as “Fast-growing international companies in effective management” and the personal achievement of leaders in science, industry and business.
Approximately 150 dignitaries and CEOs, working in construction and architecture, industry and finance, business management, medicine and health care service and higher and specialized secondary education, took part in summit.
Leading businessmen and politicians were moderators of the key sections of the Summit. Among them was Shem Krey, deputy manager of company “UrbaCon Trading & Contracting” (Qatar), Paul Britton, head of Investment department of Chamber of Commerce in the Thames Valley (Great Britain) and John Netting, president of Europe Business Assembly.
For the first time in EBA history the event included the presentations of city development programmes. These cities were awarded ‘The Prime Business Destinations Flag’ for the recognition of their investment potential.
Among those who received this flag include mayors of Budapest (Hungary), Braga and Odivelas (Portugal), Plotsk, Rzeszow and Boleslavets (Poland), Timisoara and Arad (Romania), Ruse (Bulgaria), Smeredevo (Serbia), Solin (Croatia), Ukmerge (Lithuania).
The Socrates Award ceremony was the forum’s highlight. During this ceremony the best companies and their leaders were awarded prestigious European marks of distinction.
The Summit had a warm and friendly atmosphere; it gave new opportunities for building international cooperation in business, scientific and cultural spheres, as well as promising business-projects and significant social initiatives through investment oppotunities.
