‘Best scientist’

The contest is open to:

 Academics, graduate students, scholars, and researchers of universities and educational institutions. 

 

The entrants should: 

  • submit their entry no later than 15 November 2013;

  • provide an autobiography with three photographs (up to 2 pages); and

  • provide clear information describing how the entrant’s accomplishments fit the competition criteria – this could include photos (up to 3 images),relevant facts and figures where possible, details of a particular initiative or initiatives, evidence of international and national recognition, and statistical data(up to 5 pages).

You can also attach:

  • a portfolio of published research focused on a specific theme or issue, including a film clip (up to 3 minutes).

The winner for this award will be decided in accordance with the following criteria: 

  • participation in scientific conferences;

  • scientific works, publications of articles, textbooks, manuals, guidelines;

  • grants (including co-authors);

  • patents obtained (including co-authors);

  • contribution to the institution’s vision and strategy;

  • significant or novel results, creative collaborations and the imaginative communication of research results.
