Information about innovation: Realizing the importance of nutrition aspects for any living system, Prathista introduced Gluconates based fommlations for livestock and agricultural sector for the first time in the Globe taking many challenges of MNC's.Thus, the project has been appraised, evaluated and funded by Technology Development Board (TDB), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and financially supported by Andhra Bank, State Bank of India. Hyderabad, India.The promoters have invested Rs. 20 crores Capital Investment as Equity for the Project Implementation successfully and all development activities while technology is commercialised arc now preserved with PIL.PIL enjoys location advantages in all respects for timely supplies to its end users. The availability of raw materials in and around A.P - .Lndia and good infrastructure facilities also adds to the location advantages for the PTL.As a part of Diversification progran1, PIL has taken up development of Lactic acid project based on Corn I Rice Starch.The technology was i11itially tested at 5000 litres Research based pilot scale fermentation plant which is installed in in-house R&D; centre which is recognised by DSIR, Govt of.Lndia.
